Home Economists Entertain Thursday Freshman home economics girls entertained the girls of the eighth grade of the O'Neill Public School Thursday afternoon in the home economics rixim of the high school. Mrs. Ruby Holcomb and Mrs. Nona Beckwith, junior high in structors wore also guests. Hostesses were Juanita Warner, Sharon Voider, Beverly Strong, Sarah George, Joyce Harmon, Marilyn Strong, Sally Burney, Kathryn Perry, Georgetta Clyde, Joyce Strong, Janet Peterson and Jeanie Foreman. Funeral Held Wednesday for Mr. Lansworth Funeral services were held in O’Neill Wednesday for Peter Jun ior Lansworth, a former resident of O’Neill. Mr. Lansworth died May 3 at his home in Silverdale, Wash. He was 60 years old. Pallbearers were Donald Ros hart, Thomas Liddy, Lester Ros hart, Phil Allendorfer, Lloyd Wha ley and Mac Simonson. Peter Lansworth was born at O’Neill October 27, 1899. He grew to manhood in the community and attended the O’Neill high school. He also attended Kearney State teachers college. He was united in marriage on December 4, 1932 at Omaha to Miss Lucille Morgan To this union one son, Robert, who with his wife Lucille, and one granddaughter, Debra, survive. Funeral services were held Wed nesday in O’Neill at the First Methodist church. Six of the sis ters and two brothers were able to attend. Mrs. Mabel Kerns of St. Joseph was unable to attend be cause of recent illness. Miss Hynes Engaged Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Hynes, Sce nic, announce the egagemeni and approaching marriage of their daughter, Beverly, to S/4c David M. Page, son of Mr. and Mrs, Harry L. Page of O’Neill. The wedding will take place May 22 at the Scenic Congregational church. Miss Hynes was graduated frorr Rapid City high school with th< class of 1959 and is employed at the Kathleen Morgan Studio. Her fiance was graduated from high school at O’Neill and is serv ing with the U. S. Army attached to the Second Missile Battalion al Ellsworth Air Force Base. THE 1960 ST. Mr. Bush was graduated from the Tldioute High School in 1955 and was discharged from the United States Air Force in August, 1959. Ho Is employed with the Hall mark Card Corporation in Kansas City, Mo., and is studying elec tronics at the Kansas City Central Technical Institute. No date has been set for the wedding.
