Ewing News By Mrs. Harold Hants “Two Builders" was the theme of the baccalaureate sermon by Rev. Ivan Turner, pastor of the Free Methodist Church at River side, given Sunday evening at the auditorium of the Ewing public school. Matthew 7-24:28 and the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew Chapter 5 was given ns the scrip ture reading. Rev. P. F. Burke of St. Peter’s church gave the invocation and benediction. Musical selections on the program were vocal numbers by the octet, Ron Cloyd, Bill Bau er, Douglas Shrader, Jerry Jeff eries, Bonnie Kaczor, Linda Lar son, Lois Kaczor and Kay Berg strom and the girls sextet: Kay Bergstrom, Bonnie Kaczor, Patty Hobbs, Linda Larson, Lois Kaczor and Antis Parks. Miss Sharon Johnston was also playing the processional and re cessional. The stage of the auditorium was decorated with bouquets of spring flowers, centered with a large vase of apple blossoms. In the back ground in silver letters was the class motto, “No Man Is Free, Who Is Not Master of Himself”. Class colors were pink and silver, the class flower, the pink rose. Supt. G. D. Ryan is the class spon sor. Tine members also discussed changing their time of meeting from afternoon to evening, but no definite decision was made.
