on a hike Tuesday. They took a
picnic dinner and had a wiener
roast.
The eighth grade pupils accom j
panned the county group on the

Wednesday. Darla Waldo, Lana
Kay Oetter, Joyce Doolittle and
Billie Hansen are the 8th graders
in Amelia They took the 8th grade
examinations Friday.

visitor present Mrs. Ralph Rees
was the lesson leader. Her topic ]
was "The Light of the World”.
Mrs. Blossom Butler and Mrs.
Link Sageser served on the lunch

Mrs. Edith Andersen went up to
Earnie Johnston’s on Tuesday and
helped Mr. and Mrs. Johnston and
Lew Backhaua to saw wood for her.
The Johnstons brought in a load
of wood for heir that evening.

Cahf has been visiting her daugh
ter, Mrs. Clyde Burge and fam
ily. She came to attend the wed
ding of her grandson, Gene Can
to Joann Soukup.

Denver, Colo, visited at the Lind

rainfall. The road to Atkinson was
almost impassible as the approach
