This month surely got off with a beautiful start, so very dif ferent to the first of last month which was ushered in on a howl ing blizzard that dumped about a foot of wet snow on this commun ity. But the snow is all gone now and the old terra firma is looking more like spring everyday. The early dwarf iris has been blooming for the past week. The temperture dropped to 24 April 29. It darkened the open blooms, but more new ones have come out to replace them. The Wulf-Reimer cemetery day was held May 1st when a group cleaned the cemetery near Deloit where relatives of the families are buried. Each year the group gets together and cleans and beautifies the grounds. After the work Mr. and Mrs. Fred Harpster invited the group to their home for supper.
