I Clearwater Ceremony Unites Joan Sehi, Gary Johnson, April 26 CLEARWATER—Miss Joan Kae Sehi, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Albert Sehi, Clearwater, became the bride of Gary Dean Johnson, Elgin, in an April 26 9 30 a m. cer emony at St. John's Catholic In Clearwater. Rev. Kobart officated the dou ble ring ceremony before 125 guests. Bonnie Kaczor, Ewing was organist and accompanied the musical selections by Jerry Jef fries. Bill Bower, Coralle Schmi-; ser and Judy Raster. The bride chose a gown of Chan tilly lace and nylon tulle with the V shaped Ixidice designed with an illusion yoke, wing collar, and long sleeves tapering to bridal i points. Her bell shaped skirt of laoe featured a show' of nylon ruf fles down the back. The long train was accented by a deep lace peplum. The bride’s veil of imported; silk illusion was trimmed with sequins and pearls. She carried a cascade bouquet of red ruses and white streamers. Miss Lois Jean Kaczor, Ewing, was maid of honor for her cousin, and Kathleen Sehi, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. They wore gowns of silk organ za styled with ruffled skirt and bodices accented by shirred cum merbunds. Stoles and matching hats of organza bows completed the outfits. Cindy Henn, Clearwater, was flower girl and Eddie Henkenaus was ringbeaner. Merle 9ehi brother of the bride was best man. Ushers were Jack j Sehi, the bride’s brother, and Ric-1 ky Johnson the bridegroom’s bro ther. A reception for 125 guests fol lowed the ceremony at the home I of the bride’s parents. Assisting were Mrs. Martin Pofhal, Mrs. Mark Thramer, Judy Raster, Bon nie Kaczor, Lavonn Johnson, Cora lee Schmiser, Mary Schmiser, Shar on Zigers and Mrs. Phillip Thiele. 1 The bride is a graduate of the Clearwater high school and the bridegroom a graduate of Elgin high school. Mr ,Wegner, who was 37, was a customer at a Scrib ner gas station when an explosion occured. He was a nephew of the Steinbergs. Smith A fashion review followed and Mrs. Frank Beelaert was the fashion co-ordinator. The main speaker of the evening was Mrs V A. WaIstrom of Verdigre who is the district secretary of youth. Mrs. Merwyn French, jr.,' sang "The Lord's Prayer” with Mrs Robert Van Horn giving the ln-ne Louise Heese accompanied them diction. Mrs. L. F. Knidsen ac companied all the singers on the piano and also played during the fashion show. The heads of the committees were Mrs Verne Ltn naus, decorating committee; Mrs Carl Max, refreshment committee. Mrs. Claude Pickering, mother of the bridegroom had charge of the gift book Unknown to the couple Miss Jo Anne Aim and Evelyn Barta took down the conservation carried on between them while they were opening their gifts.
