Mr. and Mrs. Edd Stewart and Mickie were Sunday afternoon and supper guests of Mr. and Mrs Gene Mud loft W.S.C.S. met in the Weslayan room on Thursday for an all day meeting with a covered dish meal at noon. In the afternoon Mrs Arnold Stewart gave the devotion j and tlie lesson which concerned tlie general conference meeting in Denver which has to do with the legislative matters of the church. It is held every four years and around 600 to 800 persons attend. Mrs. Hamid Kelly accompanied tlie group on the piano as they sang several selections. Mrs. J. W. Finch conducted the business meeting and Mrs. John Stinberg gave the trea surer’s report. It was voted to pay mission pledge of $146 and pay sup ply asking $13.25. Mrs. Steinberg increase their mission pledge 3‘. It was voted to do so. It was also suggested that they collect .65 per member from both societies to be sent to the Omaha City Mission as a supplementary gift. Mrs. Finch announced that the W.S.C.S. Spring meeting will meet at Wayne on April 19th It was al so announced that the Athletic ban suet will be held on the 13th of April. Mrs. Elmer Trowbridge re ported on immigration in the U. S. Next meeting will be on April 7th. It will be an all day meeting. They will celebrate January to March birthdays, also election of officers. On April 28th there will be a senior tea.
