Karen Kaup Weds Paul Seger Feb. 27 In Atkinson Ceremony Miss Karen Kaup, daughter of Dorothy Kaup and the late Her-( man Kaup. Atkinson became the bride of Paul F. Seger, son of Mr. j and Mrs. Lam> F. Seger, Atkinson, in a 10 a m. ceremony February 27. Kev. Ft. J. Parr officiated the double ring ceremony before 300 guests at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Atkinson. The St. Jo seph’s high school choir sang. Escorted to the altar by her grandfather, Hen Kaup sr., Stuart, the bride chose a gown of original imported chantilly lace featuring a fitted bodice with a scalloped sabrina neckline accented by seed pearls. The sleeves tapered to the wrist and the full gathered skirt fashioned into tiers of scalloped lace at the hemilne over tiers of tulle ruffles and silk taffeta. The gown extended into a chapel train of lace tiers. A crown of while seed pearls held the veil of English illusion j lace. Her bouquet was of white orchids on a white prayerbook She wore a pearl necklace and ear rings, gifts from the bridegroom. Miss Karen Bose, Omaha was, maid of honor and bridesmaids were Phyliss Kaup and Margaret Seger, sisters of the couple. They were gowned in shrimp silk or gan/a ballerina length gowns. The fitted Ixxlices were accented by sa hrina necklines and the full gather ed skirts were worn over full petti coats. They wore headpieces simi lar to the bride's with nose-tip veils. Their houquets were of white car nations. Miss Janet Kaup was flower girl and ring bearer was Robert Schaaf. The bride's cousin, Michael Schaaf, Omaha, was best man. Ushers were Leonard and Duane Jansen, Pier/., Minn., Raymond | Schaafer, Atkinson, and Dick | Brooks, Norfolk. Also attending the bridegroom were Ralph Kaup, Atkinson, and Larry Wewel, Atkinson. A dinner at noon and reception from 2 to 4 p.m. followed the cere mony, given by the bride's mo thers at the Knights of Columbus Hall. The seven tier wedding cake was baked and decorated by Con nie Coufal. Mrs. Elmer Schaaf baked the bridegroom’s cake. Mrs. Ed Callahan attended the guest book while Joan and Doris Grof, Janice Engler and Mrs. Dean Gokie assisted at the gift table. Serving punch and coffee were Mrs. Thomas Kaup and Mrs. Dick Henning. Mrs. Henry Kruger cut the wedding cake. For her wedding trip the bride wore a white lace sheath underlin ed with powder blue acetate tafet ta and wore white accessories. The bride is a graduate of St. Joseph’s high school and has been employed at the Atkinson Memorial hospital. The bridegroom also a St. Joseph's graduate, attended Nor folk Junior college for 2 years and Kearney State Teacher’s College for one year. After March 10 the couple w*ill live in Chicago. A large and interested group gathered at the Chambers school gymnasium Friday evening for an informative meeting regarding school redistricting. County Superintendent Miss French was present, also mem bers of the County re-districting board. There were questions, an sers and discussions which made it a very interesting meeting.
