Mrs. Maude Forbes is staying with Mrs. Ernst to care for her. . .Harold Fuller ton was in the Atkinson hospital several days last week due to a bad cold and flu. . .Pete Frahm has been ill with flu and confined to his home. . .Mr. ami Mrs. James Curran and son, Ardell visited Mm. Delia Ernst Friday. Mrs. Ernst has been laid up the past two-weeks with an injury to her foot and leg. She is still suffering quite a lot of pain. . .Vernon Berry has been ill with flu and unable to work for several days. Kenneth Hoerle assisted Hienie Frahm with the work at Sagesers for a few days. Bernard Blackmore was also helping there on Saturday. . Mrs. Asa Watson was in O’Neill several days last week helping care fur her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Tibbetts and family who were all ill with influenza. deloit— Mrs. Albert Gurnsey of Bassett underwent major surgery in the Bassett hospital last week. The children stayed at the Watson McDonald home. Mrs. Seth Hertel of Chambers, who was shot accidently on Tues day is the former Evelyn Tom jack of Deloit community. She is recovering. EWING Mrs. Edna Lofquest spent Saturday with her aunt, Mrs. Lillie Meyers at Clearwater, who has been ill the past week . . Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Davis went to Tilden on Tuesday where Mr. Davis had a physical creck up. He has been convalescing from recent surgery at his home, since Wednesday when he was re- j leased from the Methodist hospital in Omaha. Special Decorations at Page Hub Mesdames Roger Bowen, Glen Harris and George Wettlaufer were the special decorating com mittee in charge of the kitchen arrangements Saturday when the members of the Page King s Daughters entertained the WSCS members at a one o'clock lunch eon. Three tables were decorated for the February theme. The Abra ham Lincoln table featured a log cabin centerpiece with soldiers surrounding it and the nut cups were black stove pipe hats. The Valentine Day table was centered with a valentine with heart nut cups and George Wash ington table featured the famous cherry tree (driftwood trimmed with maraschino cherries). Candy nut cups and the hatched complet ed the Washington theme Appropriate napkins added to the festive table arrangements. !
