Holt County Supervisors OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS O'Neill, Nebr. Nov, 30, 1959 11:00 A M Holt County Board at Supervi sors met as per adjournment. All members present. Meeting called to order by the Chairman. Minute* of the previous meetings were read and approved as read. The Finance Committee reported that the fee* of the various County Offices have been remitted to the County Treasurer, as required by law, with the exception of the Sheriff’s report of which there was no treasurer's receipt attached. 12:00 Noon. On motion the Iioard adjisimed until 1:00 P.M. O'Neill, Nebr. Nov. 30, 1959 1:00 P. M Holt County Board of Supervi sors met as per adjournment. All members present. . Bid* were opened on one car load of 6” x 18' x 32’ bridge lum lier and on car load of 3’ x 12', and on ton spikes. After checking the bids motior was made by Landreth, seconded by Smith, that the low bid be ac cepted, Horner Lumber Company, having low bid on 6" x 18*, Wheeler lAimlier Bridge and Supply Com pany, the 3' x 12', and Campbell Lumber Company, the spikes (one ton of No. 601. Motion by Lmdrcth, seconded by Smith, that the County survey th< following Hoad: Commencing at the South East Corner of Section 36, Township 29, Range 16, running thence West a distance of one mile, and until such time as the County takes over the Hoad, the township to reimburse the County for survey ing. Motion carried. Motion by Flood, seconded by Ernst, that the following Warrants f»e cancelled. Motion carried. Motion carried. Motion by Dierking, seconded by Smith, that the following Resolu tion lie approved. Motion carried. R ESOLUTION BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED AND DETERMINED, BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HOLT COUNTY. NEBRASKA: 1. That the County Treasurer of Holt County be, and he is authoriz ed, in accordance with the provi i sions of Section 77-2318.01 Revised Statutes of Nebraska 1943, Reis sue of 1958, to deposit in any bank in Holt County, funds of his of fice in excess of an amount equiva lent to fifty percent of the paid-up capital stock and surplus of such bank, and to maintain such de posit, provided however that said County Treasurer shall require said depository Bank to secure any such deposits by pledge of the as sets of such Bank in the manner and within the limitations provid ed for County Judges, County Clerks, and Clerks of the District Court as set forth in Sections 77 2326.04 to 77-2326.09 R. S. of Ne braska, 1943. 2. This Resolution and authoriza tion shall remain in full force and effect until superseded or remand ed by this board. Mr. ami Mrs. Darrell Grass and son returned to Rapid City, S. D., a week ago Tuesday after spend ing three weeks with their parents. Mr. and Mrs. George Heggemeyei and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Grass of Page. Leonard Ruzicka, who drives the Verdigre cream truck, was able to make most of his route January 11 for the first time in two weeks.
