became the bride of Thomas Killers, Blair. Sunday at the Methodist
Church. The couple will live In Lincoln where he Is attending Ne
braska Wesleyan.
Lindberg-Ehlers Vows
Exchanged Sunday
At Methodist Church
Before an altar decorated with
Christmas poinsettias, white mums
and candelabra. Miss Carolyn
Esther Lindberg became the bride
of Thomas Charles Ehlers Sun
day at 3 p.m.
The bride is a daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Harold Lindberg and the
; bridegroom the son of Dr. and
| Mrs. D. Ft. Ehlers, Blair. Rev.
Glenn Kennicott performed the
! double ring ceremony at the First
Methodist Church.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride appeared in her sister’s
j wedding dress, a gown of white
nylon featuring a molded bodice
I and scoop neckline trimmed in
| Venice embroidery. The bouffant
skirt was accented by panels of
! embroidered motifs and extended
to a chapel train.
Her elbow length veil was held
hy a crown of seed pearls. She
carried a white orchid surrounded
by feathered carnations. Her only
jewelry was a single strand of
pearls, gift from the bridegroom.
Mrs. Rod Wilmuth, Clifton, Colo,
w’as her sister's matron or honor.
Sherry Shanahan, Wahoo, was
maid of honor, and bridesmaids
were Pat Mahoney, Lincoln, and
Beverly Linquist, O’Neill. They
wore dark green velvet sheath
dresses with green lace overskirts.
They carried white muffs with
holly trim and matching white
headpieces.
Sharon Nelson and Nancy Dar
ling, Falls City, were candlelight
ers, wearing white robes and red
carnation wrist corsages.
Dale Zehring, Lincoln, was best
man. Rotert Madsen, Blair, John
Blatter, Blair, and Dale Dinging,
Murdock, were gnxmismen, while
Lonny Ehlers, Lincoln, and Ivan
Misfeldt, Blair, were ushers.
Miss Manly Johnson, Norfolk,
was at the organ and Doug Ander
son of Wausa sang, "I Love Thee"
and “Wedding Prayer".
The mother of the bride wore a
dress of gold and beige silk print
with matching accessories, and
the mother of the bridegroom was
attired in a beige lace dress with
accessories to match. They wore
corsages of white feathered car
nations.
A reception for 100 guests fol
lowed the ceremony in the church
parlors, given by the bride’s par
ents. The table was centered with
the wedding cake and holiday de
corations were the theme.
Mrs. Lonny Ehlers, Lincoln, cut
the cake and coffee was served
by Mrs. Ted I.indberg, Minneapo
lis, Minn. Mrs. Paul Shelhamer
served punch. At the guest book
was Shirley Schultz, Grand Is
land, and Lois Puckett, Atkinson,
was at the gift table.
For her going away, the bride
chose a white wool dress with a
black coat and shoes and white
accessories. Following a short
wedding trip the couple will live
at 1640 S. 38th St., Lincoln.
The bride is a graduate of O’
Neill high school and attended Ne
braska Wesleyan for two years
where she was affiliated with Phi
Mu sorority. She had teen teach
ing prior to her wedding.
Mr. Ehlers is a graduate of
Blair high school and is now at
tending Nebraska Wesleyan in
Lincoln.

and Miss Geraldine Johnson, Sioux
City was bridesmaid. Their g<>wns
were holiday red festoon lace
with satin tnm. They wore match
ing white head pieces and lace
veils and carried Ixvuquets of red
roses, white carnations and lilies
of the valley.
1 Jebbie Beaudette was flower girl
and Boyd Stroj>e of Orchard was
ring bearer. Roland Jihnson was
candielighter.
Merle Boelter of Creighton was
best man and Merlin Mittes of
Orchard was groomsman. Ushers
were Richard Beaudette of Wausa
and Allen Boelter of Verdigre.
Hosts at the reception were Mr.
and Mrs. Merlin Johnson and
Mrs. Aden Beaudette. Vonda
Beaudette was in charge of the
gift table and Miss Kathy Pick
registered the guests.
Assisting with the serving were
