Vem>6 News By Mrs. Ralph Brookhouser Mrs Arthur Coover, jr. was brought to her home Tuesday from the Creighton hospital. Previously she had undergone surgery at a Sioux City hospital. A plate was put in her right leg which she had fractured at a picnic August 25. The limb is in a cast from the hip down which she will have on for two months. Her father, ■titt 1 .***> ** John Frisch is helping with the work at the Coover farm. Donald Kinnison sustained an injury to his foot when he stepped on a nail Saturday. Brenda Mudloff and Betty Sukup returned to their employment September 7 with Leland Caskev after spending the Latior Day weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Mudloff of Page and Elmer Sukup. Mrs. Pauline Benze and family of O'Nedl visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kinnison '•_: Sunday, Sept. 6. The folks were enroute to Yankton where Mrs. Bonze’s daughter is attending col lege. Mr. and Mrs. B>ron Finch were Wednesday, Sept 9 evening visi tors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Brookhouser. Mrs. Brookhouser received word Thursday morning that het uncle, Fred Hanneman of Brunswick was taken to the Plainview hospital and plans were being made to have him taken to Sioux City for x-ravs. Mr. and Mrs. Alton Nelson and daughter. Eloise of Clear Lake, la. and Mrs. Nelson s parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Buerkley visited with Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sukup and family over the week end last week. The folks were en route homo from a weeks fishing trip in Wyoming Mr. and Mrs O. S. Finch of Palmer visited September 5 at the home of his brother and sister-in law. Mr, and Mrs. Bryn Finch. Ollier wsoors during the weekend at the Finch home were Mrs. Alta Finch of Page and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Finch. Mr. and Mrs. 0. S Finch returned home Sunday afternoon. Iceland Caskey spent the Labor Day weekend with his parents, Mr, and Mrs Ora Caskey and twins He returned to Omaha , Monday evening. Suelleyn and Joan C iskey spent Saturday evening with the Ora Caskey family. Barbara Groeling returned to her home Saturday from Lafay ette, Ind. Barbara was a delegate to the National Convocation of Methodist Youth. Mr and Mrs. Groelirvg met the group at Lin coln. ILeturning with them also was Jo Ellen Farnik of Verdigre, also a delegate. Wendell Strope shelled com at the Norman Rokahr farm Tues day. Sept S. Raymond Sukup was out in this community September 8 calling on his seed corn customers.
