Jack Carney, son of Leo Carney,
O'Neill on August 1, at St. Pius X
church in Omaha. The Rev. T.
O'Brian officiated.
Escorted to the altar by her
father, the bride wore a gown of
Chantilly lace over ruffled net. Ir
idescent beads surrounded the
neckline. Her bouquet was a cas
cade of white mums.
Serving her sister as matron of
honor was Mrs. C. M Evans, Kan
sas City, Mo. Bridesmaids were
Miss Michaela O-Boyle, sister of
the bride and Miss Delores Brown.
The bride's attendants wore
white embroidered sheath dresses
with an overskirt of shaded laven
der. They carried notegays of lav
ender asters.
John Halbur was best m-.n. Ush
ers were Joe Uhl. Jess Wills, Pat
Hickey, Bob Beckenhauer and
Bob Holsclaw.
Kathie Evans, Kansas City, Mo.,
niece of the bride, was flower
girl. Mr. and Mrs. B. J. O'P.oyle
sang.
A reception and breakfast was
held at the home of the bride's
parents in Omaha. The couple
planned a wedding trip to Colora
do. For her going away dress, the
bride chose a blue and white
checked summer suit with blue
accessories.
Mrs Carney is a graduate of
Holy Name Academy and Creigh
ton University.
The couple will be at home at
1624 N. 33rd St. in Omaha.

The bride, given in marriage by
her father, appeared in a gown
fashioned of ruffled nylon tulle
and Chantilly lace. The sculptured
basque bodice was designed with
long tapered sleeves and a i>or
trait neckline formed by bands
■f finely pleated tulle and decor
ated with glittering iridescents.
i The amazingly bouffant floor
I length skirt of ruffled tulle was
j overlain with an apron of lace.
| Her veil was held in place by a

orchid on a Bible.
The matron-of-honor, Mrs. Bev
erly Burke, sister of the bride
groom, Lincoln, wore a street
length frock fashioned of Chantil
ly type lace and nylon chiffon, in
petal pink. A curved neckline and
elbow length sleeves complimented
the lace basque while the fully
gathered skirt was of chiffoa. She
carried a colonial bouquet of pink
and white carnations. The brides
maid, Miss Carol Lambley, niece
of the bridegroom, Ainsworth, also
wore a pink street length frock
fashioned similar to that of the
m at ron-of-honor.

O’Neill before moving to Ains
worth where she was a 1956 gradu
ate of the Ainsworth high school.
She was previously employed by
the Union Insurance Company at
Lincoln.
The bridegroom was a 1950 gra
duate of the Ainsworth high school
and a 1957 graduate of Norfolk
Junior college. He spent two years
in the U. S. Army
