swimming party Tuesday evening.

loined together for devotions and
singing before lunch. The new sub

and spoke briefly. Eileen Nelson,

Gary Gillespie, all of O'Neill, led
the devotions and singing.

Miss Sharon Crumly and Ed
Walker were united in marriage
Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Page
Methodist church. The bride is
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Lyndley Crumly ami the bride
groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Gordon Walker, all of Page.
The double ring ceremony was
performed by Rev. Green.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride chose a ballerina length
s ,vti with a full skirt encireled
in tiers of nylon net over taffeta.
Her lace bodice featured a soft
draped neckline The bride's veil
was fashioned of nylon tulle and
tdged in chantilly lace. A small
band of flowers held it in place.
Her bouquet was of white feath
ered carnations and lily of the
.ahey. Her only jewelry was a
eui.ured pearl in a silver leaf
setting, gift of the bridegroom.
All of the bridal attendants
were sisters of the bride. Lura
Anne Crumly was maid of honor
and Bonnie and Peggy Crumly
were bridesmaids. They wore
identical dresses of lavander nylon
with white flocking and white ac
cessories. Each carried a deep
red happiness rose.
Patty Jo Crumly was flower
girl, wearing a dress of embroid
ered organdy, trimmed in lavan
der and a head band of white
roses.
Attending the bridegroom was
Bob Baber, Plainview, cousin of
the groom, as best man. Grooms
men w>re Hank Alfrey, Louisville,
and Bill Urwielr, Laurel.
Ushers were Larry Heiss and
Bill Urwielr. Candlelighters were
James Crumly and Larry Walker.
Miss Kathleen Walker was in
charge of the guest book.
Miss Faye Rutherford played
the traditional wedding marches
and accompanied Marilyn Terrill
who sang, "I Love You Truly,"
"The Wedding Prayer,” and "The
Lord’s Prayer." The altar was
decorated with woven branch can
delabra and baskets of gladoli.
The mother of the bride chose
an aqua dress of nylon mesh with
white accessories. The mother of
the bridegroom wore a pink dress
with white accessories and both
wore w hite corsages.
A reception given by the bride’s
parents followed in the Fellowship
Hall of the church. The serving
table was centered by the wedding
cake, baked and cut by Mrs. Keith
Weyer, Plainview, aunt of the
bridegroom. The Misses Dixie Nis
son and Connie Riege served the
cake while Miss Janice Crumly,
Omaha, poured punch and Miss
Donna Crumly, Page, poured cof
fee.
Servers were Joyce Green,
Juanita and Vivian Ragland and
Kay Nissen. In charge of the gift
table were Mrs. Larry Heiss. Mrs.
Bob Prill and Miss Myrna Heiss.
For her going away outfit, the
bride chose a yellow cotton dress 1
with an embroidered bolero jack
et and white accessories.
The couple will be at home in
Cairo where the bridegroom will
teach.
