Mrs. M«ry V Snyder
Funeral services for Mrs, Mary
A, Snyder were held Friday after
noon at two o'clock at the First
Methixlist Church in Ewing with
the Rev. Lisle Mewmaw pastor of
the Page Methodist Church Offi
ciating Burial was made in the
Ewing cemetery.
John A Wood was organist for
the singers. Mrs. Harriet Welke
and Mr Kd Hoag. Mrs Irvin
Cloyd and Mrs. Iva Rouse were in
charge of the floral tributes.
Pallbearers were Clifford Hahl
heek, Jerry Rotherham, Robert
Pruden, Laverne Finley. Elvin
Hamilton ami Hermit Jefferies.
Mary A. Burner, daughter of
John and Adeline Burner was bom
In Dodge County near Hooper, De
cember 20, 18X3 and died after a
brief illness at the Antelope Mem
orial hospital at Neligh, on May
25.
Her childhood was spent at Stan
ton. Nebr., where she completed
her education in the public school.
As a young woman, she came to
Ewing with her parents. Here she
met J William Snyder, whom she
married at Columbus on August.
17. 1906. They made Ewing their
horn*1 for their entire life together.
Since the death of her husband
thirteen years ago, Mrs. Snyder
has made her home with their only
child, a daughter, Helen and fam
ily in Ewing.
Mrs. Snyder attended the Meth
odist Church and was a member
of the Sunset club. She was a de
voted mother and grandmother, al
so a good neighbor, always ready to
lend a hand in need.
Survivors are daughter, Helen 1
Sisson; 8 grandsons and two grand
daughter; 4 great-grandsons and
2 great-granddaughters; 3 sisters
Mrs. Irvin Rogers, Dallas, Tex.,
Mrs Ralph Hales of West Point
and Mrs. Jennie Lytle of St. Jo-;
seph; Mo.; brother-Culver Burner
of Jamesvllle, Wise., and a host
of friends.

attending the funeral were Mr. and
