Sunday dinner guests at the Ora Switzer home were the Darrel and Wendell Switzer families Glen White Elected To Temperance League At O'Neill Meeting Glen White of Amelia was elec ted chairman of the Holt county chapter of Temperance league Committee for Alcohol and Narco tics Education Tuesday evening in O'Neill. Representatives from the church es and communities of Holt County selected White as their chairman at a meeting held at the Assembly of God church after discussing the purpose and plan of such an organ ization. Other officers elected were; Mrs. I.mile LaRue of Ewing, co-chairmen and secretary, Wai | ter Miller. Ewing, chairman of the Church committee, Otto Ter rill, Page, chairman of tile school committee, Roger Rosenerans, Red Bird, chairman of the pub lic relations committee, and Bennett Gillespie, O'Neill, chair man of the finance committee. Members of the various commit tees were. Ernest Johnston, Amelia, and Ervin Carpenter, Chambers, on the Church Committee; Mer wyn French, Page, and Clyde Wid man, Amelia, on the School Com mittee; Ernest Norwood, and Har vey Tompkins, on the Public Re lations Committee, and Evan Gar wood. Atkinson, and Donald Moss, Stuart, on the Finance Committee. A goal of $967 was set for the county to carry on the program.
