April 4 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Ew ing. Before an altar decorated with white pompoms and blue carna tions, Rev, P. F. Burke offi ciated at the 9:30 a m. double ring ceremony and nuptial mass. Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a white French lace and nylon tulle fash ioned with a fitted bodice The scalloped neckline was highlighted by a sequin trim and the long sleev es tapered to bridal points. The full skirt was trimmed with rows of hand clipped French lace and fea tured a hill gathered flounce. She carried a white prayer book, gift of the bridegroom, with a white phaleanopsis orchid and Steph an to tis. Miss Frances Noffke was maid of honor and Mrs. Mary Lois Heu messer and Miss Janet Noffke were bridesmaids. All are sisters of the bride. They wore identical gowns of blue taffeta, ballerina length, with matching headpieces of white. They carried crescent colonial bou quets of blue lace carnations, ac cented with tufts of nylon net and uates of Ewing high school. Mrs Koenig has been employed for the 1 past two years in Neligh. Gene was a mem tar of the church board and Dor toby belonged to several of the women s organizations Besides bowling, the Birds like A play cards and Dorothy occupies waicfT of her time with sewing. Gnr is considering taking night tor extension courses when they mot more settled. Mother of the groom wore navy blue. Each had whit accessories and a white rose corsage. A reception followed the ceremo ny and mass at St. Dominic’s Hall. Hall. Mary Ann Nelson, Neligh, was in charge of the guest book, Clarabelle Mlnarik was in charge of the gift book and tagle and was assisted by Irene Kaczor and Mona Mosel. Mrs. Emil Adamson cut the cake, Mrs. Jerry Koenig served and Mrs. Leonard Koenig poured. Servers were Catherine Bauer, Sharon Schmidt, Vera Del Daniels Mary Miller and Lynette Helm ricks. For her going away ensemble* the bride chose a two peice beige dress with white accessories. Af ter a short wedding trip the coup le will be at home on a ranch south of Ewing. The couple are, both 1966 grad Delta Dek and Martez Meet— Martez and Delta Dek clubs met April 2 at the Town House for cards and dinner. Mrs. Homer Mullen was hostess. Winners were Mrs. Ed Gallagher, Mrs. Ben Grady and Mrs. Mullen. Hoapltal Auxiliary Meets— St. Anthony's hospital auxiliary will meet at 8 p.m. at the hospital. Dr. Robert W. At the afternoon and evening ses sions, the Methodist youth heard Rev. Streeter, Clair Methodist Church, Omaha, discuss the cur rent MYF project, Philander Smith College for colored students in Little Rock, Arkansas. Contributions for the college from the Methodist Youth Fellowship groups in the northeast district to taled appproximately $150. District officers were elected and installed at the Sunday rally.
