Why So Many Colors in Diamonds?
The answer lies in the characteristic of the diamond—what the
scientists call the power of DISTENSION. Ordinary white light
is a mixture of all the colors of the rainbow. When the light
enters the diamond. It Is broken up because the diamond bends
each different color ray at a slightly different angle—one angle
for red. another for the orange, and so on through the blue and
violet. So the light the diamond gathers Is sent back to you
with a dazzling rainbow fire. For this reason you should choose
only fine cut diamonds—to obtain maximum fire and beauty.
A wise policy when buying diamonds Is “TO KNOW YOUR
JEWELER”.
