Letters to Editor
Bentonville, Ark.
After the issue that carried the
editorial supporting Faubus, Post
master Ira Muss should down
grade The Frontier. You northern
editors must have been served up
some mountain dew to fall for the
Faubus line.
Am enclosing two clippings One
is from a sensible man from Nash
ville, Ark. The other shows the
type of buffoon that is found in
every legislature. I’ve marked
some passages to show how these
witch doctors work. The reporter
mentioned worked for The Arkans
as i Little Rock) Democrat, which
has been a Faubus booster. This
may set you to thinking, which is
doubtful.
-RALPH N. LEIDY
Chamberlain, S.D.
Just heard the news on your
program that you sold the paper.
We’ll miss your voice as we near
ly always listened.
Remember when I sold subscrip
tions and Cleary' Bros, wanted to
trade a beef roast for a subscrip
tion?
MRS. LaWR. STORJOHANN
Atkinson, Nebr.
Never until I went to stack my
surprise announcement Frontier
with the other*; did I become so
keenly7 aware that I was filing
something with a distinct person
ality. There was the choice of
front page material, the frank dis
cussions on the editorial pages,
makeup . . . these things we'll
miss.
—MRS. JOHN SILVERSTRAND

Mrs. Stewart: Were sure going
to miss your so gentle and sincere
voice that gives the hospital news
on WJAG . . . will miss you and
Cal very much.
