Donatis at Home in Montebello Mr. and Mrs. I .eon Joseph Don ah are now at home in Montebel lo, Calif., after a brief honeymoon in Santa Barbara, Calif. Mrs. Don ati is the former Kathleen Jean Lindberg. The couple was wed November 29 at Our Divine Saviour Catholic church of Los Angeles, Calif. Rev. Russel Karl officiated at the nup tial high mas, which was sung by the Divine Suviour choir of 20 voices. Schuberts "Ave Maria" was sung by Rose Marie Lerchen muller. The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose an Alfred Angelo original gown with molded bodice of Chantilly lace, embroidered with sequins anti seed pearls, sweetheart neckline and long sleeves. A very bouffant skirt of dainty puffs of tulle swept into a chapel train of chantilly lace over taffeta and tulle. The sunburst veil of silk illusion, caught up in to a double crown of matching lace, sequins and pearls, was hand designed by Mrs. Gabrielle I^Fevre, long-time friend of the bride. The bride carried a white pearl prayer book, silver rosary, a handkerchief borrowed from the maid of honor, and one white or chid on a cascade bouquet of steiphanotis. Her only jewelry was a diamond cultured pearl necklace and earrings, her wed ding gift from the bridegroom. She was attended by maid-of honor, Teresa Delgadillo. Brides maids were Edith Waters, sister of the bride, Joan Ford and Evangeline Trujillo. The bridegroom was attended by bestman, Donald Falbo. Ush ers were Joseph Waters, brother in-law of the bride, John Lunardi and William Batman. The flowergirl was Claudia La France, 4-year-old cousin of the bride. ’ Ring bearer was Joseph Lindberg, 5-year-old brother of the bride. Special guests were Mrs. Rose Scholz, maternal great-great aunt of the bride, and Mrs. Julia Nou guier. maternal great-aunt of the bridegroom. Out-of-state guests were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lindberg. of O - Neill, paternal uncle and aunt ot the bride. The bride, a graduate of Sac mi Heart high school, is present ly employed as a steno-clerk at the Los Angeles city health de partment. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. F. Lindberg of Los Angeles, formerly of O’ Neill. The parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Donati of Montebello. The bridegroom, a two-year army veteran, attend ed Cantwell and Montebello high schools and Pasadena City col lege. He is a commercial repre sentative of Pacific Telephone company. Harold Lindberg and Fred Lind berg of O’Neill are the bride’s paternal uncles. Miss Simmons ... to enroll at Boston U. Harriet Simmons Leaves Lincoln AFB PAGE—Miss Harriet Simmons has announced her resignation as youth activities director of Tween and Teen Town at the Lincoln air force base and will be succeeded by Robert Heffekfinger. Miss Simmons went to Lincoln AFB in July, 1955, as assistant Service Club director but had to serve as acting director until Miss Grace Horn accepted this position in September, 1956. It wasn’t until December 22, 1957, that Tween & Teen Town was opened with Miss Simmons as director. Since then she has or ganized the Junior Bowling league and the Junior Rifle club. Teen Town is now composed of 105 members with 37 members of the Tween Town. These young peo ple have enjoyed many wonderful and exciting parties and excur sions as well as guidance in sports I and hobbies. Although Miss Simmons is a na tive of Page she plans to attend Boston, Mass. In wishing the young people the ! "best of luck,” Miss Simmons said , she certainly enjoyed the Lincoln AFB relationship and hopes to come back to visit occasionally. Miss Horn said "Miss Simmons has always been admired for her poise and efficiency". Miss Simmons is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Simmons of Page and is a graduate of the Page high school.
