500-600 Cattle Expected Today
Looks like a real good sale today (Thursday). There’ll be
500-000 head including 900-400 calves including 50 head of choice
steer calves fro mAtkinson; SO head of black steers from south of
O’Neill; SO head of Shorthorn-Angus cross calves, good-to-choice
for quality .
There will be numerous consignments of calves from five to
20 head. We’re expecting 200 head of yearlings, 20 head of open
yearling whiteface heifers from Ewing; 25 head of mixed yearlings
from Spencer; 23 head of "50-lb. yearling steers from O’Neill,
and other consignments.
Charles Cole is bringing in a good, serviceable yearling |
Black bull. There will be 10 whiteface cows (good ages) with
caves at side; 10 bred Angus heifers. The hog sale starts at 1
j o'clock.
