EMMET NEWS William Serck went to Sioux Falls, S. D., Saturday to get his daughter, Miss Linda, who is at tending Augustana Lutheran col lege there. She will spend the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Serck at Em met. NAME DAUGHTER The Fred Applebys have named their daughter Ann Lorraine. Larry has been j advanced from airman appren tice to airman and will report to naval air base North Island, San Diego, Calif., where he will be a member of a patrol squad ron. The local salvation army drive began this week with Ted McEl haney as chairman and Archie Bright as treasurer. The business area was solicited by Fred Steck er, army representative.
