Missionary society of the Wesley
an church. Memtiers of t tie society
were in charge of the program
which was held at the Otto Terrill
home. Mrs. Terrill had the de
votions, Mrs Ilurl Hats gave a
reading and several choruses
were sung.
A surprise "pound social" was
Included in the evening's program
in honor of the pastor, Rev. Baty
and family. The mission fund was
swelled by "one cent a year from
each contributor Lunch was ser
ved.
Iranian Students
Heard at Ewing
EWING Delbert Bichle of the
Clearwater Church of Christ was
guest speaker at the Church of
Christ here Sunday afternoon
Richard Brown of the Orchard
Church of Christ was leader of a
singspiration.
Included in the program were
three students from Iran, who are
attending the Nebraska Christian
college at Norfolk and Norfolk
Junior college. One student pres
ented musical selections on an in
strument from his native land.
Persons from neighboring chur
ches also presented special selec
tions.
Holiday Guests—
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Holly and
family and Miss Patty Heerman
were Thanksgiving guests in Sew
ard at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Joe Liska. Mrs. Holly, Carol Jo
and Miss Heerman remained until
Sunday.

Wed in Germany
EWING Miss Darlene Bollwitt,
daughter of Mrs. Frank Bollwitt
of Ewing liecame the bride of Pfe.
John F. Wederski, son yf Mr. and
Mrs. Klejah Wederski of Stratton,
on September 17 at 7:30 pm., at
the base chapel in Munich, Ger-;
many. Father Cow hig officiated at J
the mass.
The bride was dressed in a I
lloor-length gown which was made
from a parachute. She wore a
fingertip veil and carried a bou
quet of red roses.
The bridegroom was dressed in
a military uniform.
Attendants were Kathy Coover,
bridesmaid, and Sp 14 John Hook
er, bestman.
The bride was a graduate of
Ewing high school, class of 1952.
After graduation she worked 18
months as a nurses aid and then
attended National Business Insti
tute in Lincoln for nine months.
The bridegroom is a high school
graduate at Stratton and has been
serving in the army since Janu
ary 16, 1956.
He is a paratrooper and has
been stationed at Munich, Ger
many, for the past 18 months.
Annual Rodeo Meet
Planned Sunday Eve
The annual dinner meeting of
the O'Neill Rodeo association will
be held Sunday evening, Decem
ber 7, at the American Legion
ciub, starting at 7 o’clock.
Members, wives and escorts will
lie present.
A nominating committee will
offer a slate of officers.
