construction and operational costs

‘ Federal subsidies must natur
ally t>e followed hy supervision or
regulation and controls. It, there
fore. becomes necessary for the
state of Nebraska to refrain from
participating or entering into any
additional federal programs.”
Lloyd Waldo of Chambers, for

our rural schools and the small
community high schools will lose
their rights of continuation of op
eration if proposed legislation is

Overnight ‘Guest
An escapee from the Wyo
ming state penitentiary was ap
prehended in Chicago, 111., and
spent Wednesday night, Novem
ber 26, and Thanksgiving mom
in the Holt county jail—an over
night stop while authorities were
returning the convict a murder
er to the Rawlins institution.
Victor Wilde, 36, was taken in
to custody by federal bureau of
investigation agents at Chicago
after having enjoyed freedom
since September 22 when he es
caped
Wilde has spent 12 of his 36
years in the pen. The murder
count netted Wilde a life sen
tence.

Plain cream style cottage cheese
may he used, she reports, if you
blend a little chopped chives or
green onion into it
CHIVE CHEESE DIP
( Makes 3 cups)
I 1 1 (5-ounce carton chive cottage
cheese
1 8-ounce package cream cheese
Ms cup dairy sour cream
| 2 teaspoons soy sauce
Few drops hot pepper sauce
2 tablespoons grated onion
Vz teaspoon seasoning salt
Combine ingredients and beat
until well mixed. Serve with as
sorted crackers and potato chips.
