It was nec essary to cut holes in the roof to extinguish the blaze. Contents of the home were car ried to the porches of nearby neighbors and the Allens took up housekeeping in the home of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Fin ley. who are vacationing on the West coast. The loss was partially covered by insurance. . . Defective electrical wiring was believed a possible cause of the fire.
