church at Lynch. The 6:30 pm.

formed by the Rev. Joseph Wal
stad, pastor of the Ni-Ve-Do Pres
byterian church in Niobrara, be
fore an altar decorated with bou
quets of mums.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a floor-length
gown of Rochelle lace oyer taffeta
with a fitted bodice which featur
ed tiny lace covered buttons down
the front, with a scalloped neck
line and long tapering sleeves. The
skirt had 3 flounces of lace with
a show of ruffles in the back.
The illusioned veil was trimmed
with lace to match the gown and
held in place by a tiara of pearls
and sequins.
She wore a pearl necklace and
earrings, a gift from the bride
grom, and carried a carnation
bousuet.
Miss Helen Halstead, sister of
the bride, was maid-of-honor. She
wore a dres of lavendar net over
taffeta. The bridesmaids. Miss
Claranna Carson and Miss June
Carson, both sisters of'the bride
groom, wore dresses identical to
the maid-of-honor only in yellow
Johnny Hills of Rushville, cous
in of the bridegrom, was bestman
and Larry Halstead, brother of
the bride, and Eddie Krugman of
O'Neill, were groomsmen.
The ushers were Alvin arson of
O'Neill, cousin of the bridegroom,
and Victor Pickering of Redbird.
Ann Adele Carson of Page, cous
in of the bridegroom, was flower
girl and the ringbearer was Barry
Loock of Spencer, a cousin of the
bride.
The Misses Shirley and Char
lotte Halstead, cousins of the
bride, sang “Entreat Me Not to
Leave Thee" and “Oh Perfect
Love”, accompanied by Mrs. Jo
seph VValstad.
The couple both attended Lynch
high schol.

Big Sales Today, Tomorrow
There will be 1,400-1,000 head of cattle here today (Thurs
day) for the regular weekly sale.
This offering—biggest of the season—will include
to one thousand calves, mostly whlteface. Quite a ew o ‘ so
will be load lots. Balance of the sale will be yearling heifers and
yearling steers, also quite a few fat cows. The quality of these
fresh, sandhills cattle will be the best. Including many light cal
ves which the feeders will be wanting. Hog sale starts at twelve
o’clock noon : cattle sale about 1:30.
This will also be the biggest week of the year because the
\ following day-Friday, October 24-is the black Friday sale-the
third annual. There will be around 1,500 head of black Angus
cattle, 800 to 1,000 top steer and heifer calves, 300 to 500 yearling
steers and heifers, and 15 4-H calves.
