injuries suffered Wednesday, Oc
tober 8, while working with the
REA along highway 59 east of
Creighton where a line was being
i moved.
The anchor on the truck bed,
which holds the boom, broke in
the weld, and Hilkemeier was
struck a glancing blow. He was
taken to the Lundberg Memorial
| hospital here.
He was saved from more serious
injury by the safety hard hat he
was wearing.
