Mr. and Mrs Art Ennen and
family, formerly of Lynch, moved
to O’Neill in the Wolfe home, for
merly occupied by the Edward
TelLier family The Telliers moved
to Lincoln.
Newcomers to O'Neill are Mr
and Mrs Donald Younie and Paul
10, and Martha, 9. Mr. Younie is
the new McKesson-Roberts sales
man. They formerly resided in
Sioux City. They are living in the
Lawrence Jonas home south of the
library.
Mr. and Mrs. William Petsche
and family are moving into the
Pruss house south of the Neigh- j
borhood grocery store.
Mr. and Mrs. Danny Helmer and
family moved to Winner, S D., this i
past week.
Ribs Fractured in
Vacation Fall
Orville Morrow, who lives two
miles north of O'Neill, suffered
and possibly three broken ribs
August 16 while vacationing at
Colorado Springs, Colo. He slip
ped and fell in a motel.
His neigh!x>rs Monday organized
a haying liee and made short
work of 80 acres. They worked
from 9 a m until 4 p m. and put
up nine stacks.

At the North-Central Nebraska
conference meeting held Tuesday,
September 2, at Bassett, officers
for the coming year were elected:
Marvin Boesen, superintendent at
Stuart, was elected president and
the new basketball coach at
Stuart took on the secretarial dut
ies.
The group voted Ainsworth as
site for the NCNC basketball
tournament. The band clinic will
also lie held at Ainsworth.
The conference vocal clinic will
lie held at Valentine, the track
meet at Bassett, and the fresh
man-sopohmore track meet will
be held at O'Neill.
The next NCNC meeting is sch
eduled for January 10 at Bassett.
The Holt County High School
Activities association meeting will »
be held Saturday, September 13,
at 10 a.m., at the high school

South Side Hostess
EMMET—The South Side club
met with Mrs. Joe Winkler Tues
day, Septemtjer 2 All members
were present but two. There was
a round-table discussion ol the
school situation in relation to in
tegration and reorganization.
Next meeting will be with Mrs.
Leon Beckwith, at which time
there will be sewing for the sur
gical department of St. Anthony's
hospital.
