Bazel man of O'Neill Miss Ellen Havranek accom panied Miss Bonnie Burival who sang ”Ave Maria”, "Panis An gelieus” and as the bride placed a bouquet on the Blessed Mother altar Miss Burival sang a Conse cration to Our Lady. The bride, escorted to the altar by her father, appeared in a floor-1 length gown of rosepoint lace and j nylon tulle over layers of net and : taffeta. The gown was fashioned i with a molded bodice featuring a dropped waistline, edged with se quinned medallions. Matching me dallions trimmed the wide V neck line. The long sleeves tapered to bridal points over her wrists. The very bouffant skirt, worn over hoops featured panels of rosepoint lace in front and back. A very small queen’s crown of lace and sequins held her veil of pure silk French illusion in place. She carried a cascade of white rosebuds and rubrum lillies and j a silver crystal rosary, a gift of her godparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Babl. She also carried a silk handkerchief which her mother carried at her wedding 42 years ( ago. Her only jewelry was a pearl j necklace, a gift of the bridegroom. She carried out the tradition of something old, something pew, something borrowed, blue and a penny in her shoe. Mrs James .grhmit? sister of the bride, was matron-of-honor. Miss Joanne Lansworth, friend of the bride, was bridesmaid. They wore gowns of white organdy with pink, blue and green embroidered cummerbunds. This embroidery was repeated in the skirt and in a wide band near the hemline. They wore blue whisper veils trimmed with minute blue bows and carried cascade bouquets of pink roses and rubrum lillies. Their only jewelry was a single cultured pearl suspended from a gold spider chain. Tom Langan, classmate of the bridegroom, and James Schmitz, brother-in-law of the bride, served as groomsmen. The bridegroom and his atten dants wore dark summer suits. The bride's mother wore a light lilac-colored dress with black and white accessories. The bride groom’s mother wore a pink lace dress with black and white ac cessories. Their corsages were of white asters and roses. Ushers were Arnold Babl and Allen Martin Mass servers were Morris and Richard Pongratz. A dinner for about 85 guests was given at noon by the bride’s parents. A rorpntinn was holH in thn Af ternoon for about 150 guests. A large three-tier wedding cake, topped with white roses atop a prayerbook, centered the recep tion table. It was baked and dec orated by Mrs. Homer Ernst. Mrs. Don Engler, sister of the bride, cut and served the cake. Mrs. Jerry Babl and Mrs. Wen dell Babl, sisters-in-law of the bride, poured. Mrs. Ken Huston had charge of the guest book and LaDonna Mc Nulty and Bonnie Burival helped with the gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Bazelman are both graduates of St. Mary's acad emy. For traveling the bride chose a navy blue sheath with very brief checked jacket with white acces sories. After a short weddine trip they will be at home in their new home in East O’Neill. The pool cost was in ex cess of 26-thousand-dollars. Initially Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Weller donated $12,500 to start a fund after pool bond proposals had been defeated twice at the polls. Public contributions raised the balance. The completed and equipped installation was turn ed over to the city of Atkinson for maintenance and operation in ceremonies last Thursday. Mayor Willard Linville appointed a park commission: Dr. James E. Ramsey, chairman; Robert Keating, secretary; Don Smith, Leo Seger and Irven Par sons. Pool manager is Sewell Johnson.
