Co-Owner of Market Dies at Her Home Elizabeth Peklo, 51, Rites at Lynch LYNCH Funeral, services for Miss Elizabeth Mary Peklo. 51, a Lynch businesswoman, were con ducted at 10 a m., Saturday, Aug ust 9. at Assumption Blessed Vir gin Mary Catholic church Rev Charles Kamber, church pastor, officiated at requiem high mass. Burial was in the family plot in Assumption BVM cemetery un der the direction of the Jones fu neral home Miss Peklo died of a heart at tack Wednesday evening, August 6, at her home in Lynch. She had been ill about a month but was believed to be on the road to re covery. Pallbearers were Lyle King and Jack Darnell, both of Omaha; Roger Wolf, Donald Darnell, Frank Vlean and Frederick King, all of Lynch Elizabeth Mary Peklo was Ixirn to Emil Peklo and Barbora Kraus Peklo October 27, 1907. at Lynch. She was reared and educated here and was graduated from Lynch high school. After teaching school one year, she became manager and co-owner of the Peklo meat market. Her father had been an early merchant here and the market has lieen in the family many years. She was a member of Assump tion BVM church. Miss Peklo was active in church, civic and social affairs of the community. Survivors include; Brothers — Victor of Norfolk, Emil of Omaha and Bernard of Lynch; sisters Mrs. Helen Curie of San Diego, Calif., and Miss Madlen Peklo, a Lynch teacher.
