Mrs. Spence Is Feted at Ewing EWING Mrs. William Spence was . the honored guest at a 1 o’clock luncheon at the parlors of the Ewing Methodist church Tuesday. Mrs. Spence, who has been a member of the Women’s Society of Christian Service since coming to Ewing about 10 years ago. will soon move to O’Neill, where Mr. Spence has been trans ferred as depot agent for the Chi cago & Northwestern railway. While making their home in Ew ing, Mr. and Mrs. Spence have been active in church tiff airs. They have one son who attends the University of Nebraska. A gift was presented Mrs. Spence by the society. Dakota Merchant Succumbs at 65 mrmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmiM EWING — Louis Trumbull, 65, of Allan, S. D., son-in-law of Mrs. Caroline Sanders of Ewing, died Wednesday, June 11, at the Mar tin, S. D., hospital where he had been suffering a heart ailment. His widow is Ethel Trumbull.
