Lisle Mewmaw officiated at a 7 o’clock candle light nupital rite Sunday evening, June 15, at the Page Methodist church in which Miss Helen Jo anne Finch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J W. Finch, jr., of Page, and Larry Ray Taylor of Wayne, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond C. Tay lor of Page, were united in mar riage in a double-ring ceremony. The sanctuary was decorated with baskets of red roses flanked by baskets of white daisies and other seasonal flowers. Norene Waring of Fairbury and Larry Pease of Niobrara, cousins of the bride, lit the tapers. Gordon Gentzler of Neligh, cous in of the bride, was soloist and sang ‘‘Always’’ and “I Love You Truly”. Kenneth Waring of O’ Neill, uncle of the bride, was ac companist and played the wed ding music. The bride, given in marriage by her father, appeared in a floor length gown magnificent in em broidered nylon tulle over a beautiful pleated front panel run ning to the floor. The traditional fitted bodice and v-cut sleeves were topped with a wing collar. Her fingertip veil was held by a soft hat of pure silk encrusted with seed pearls and sequins. She car ried white cymbidiums and step phanotis on a white Prayer Book. Miss Margie Finch, sister of the bride, was maid-of-honor. Her gown was pink nylon net over taf etta while the bridesmaid, Miss Bette French, friend of the bride, wore an aqua gown of nylon net uvci laicua. duui naa luenucai head bands and carried a colonial bouquet of white carnations. Duane Finch of Osmond, broth er of the bride, was bestman. Dean Taylor, who is with the navy at Jacksonville, Fla., was grooms man for his brother. Sally Taylor of Clearwater was flowerfirl and Steven Johnson, al so of Clearwater, was ringbearer. Both are cousins of the groom. Arlee Waring of Page and Bennie Taylor of Ewirjg ushered. The bride’s mother wore a blue bemberg gown. The mother of the bridegroom also chose a blue dress. Both wore white ac cessories and had corsages. A reception for 200 guests was arranged in Fellowship hall immediately following the cere mony. Mrs. Merwyn French, sr., was in charge of the arrange ments. The bride’s table was centered with a three-tiered wedding cake topped by a minature bride and bridegroom. Lighted candles comleted the end arrangements with the flower arrangements and streamers in red and white were included in the table decoration and repeated at the serving and gift tables. Mrs. Ethel Waring and Mrs. Alta Finch, grandmothers of the bride, poured. Mrs. Kenneth War ing of O'Neill cut the wedding cake. The Misses Bette Spangler and Lois Saltz served. Mrs. Robert Pease of Niobrara presided over the guest book while Mesdames Ronnie Lau of Wayne and Kenneth Tyler of Fremont were in charge of the gift table. The bride is a graduate of the Page High school and attended Wayne State College. She taught two terms in the Knox county ru ral schools. The bridegroom is also a gradu ate of Page high school. Music was furnished by the Dixie Five. The newlywed Mr. and Mrs. Larry Taylor open ed the dance to the "Melody of Love”, a four-part dance number. The second part the couple was joined by their attendants. In the third arrangement all relatives of the newlyweds joined and all join ed in the fourth and final divis ion. The couple left late for Colorado Springs, Colo., on a sightseeing trip of a week’s duration. They will be at home at 1015 Lincoln st., Wayne, after June 23.
