Engagement Is Told
The betrothal of Miss Sandra Lee Delforge of Green Bay,
Wise., and Edward F. Campbell, jr., 211 South Monroe ave., Green
Bay, has been announced by the bride-elect’s parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Merle Delforge, 514 North Ashland ave., Green Bay. Mr.
Campbell is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward F. Campbell of O’
Neill. Miss Delforge is a graduate of West High school, Green Bay.
Her fiance has a bachelor of science degree from Creighton uni
versity, Omaha. Both are employed in the information department
of the Wisconsin Public Service corporation offices at Green Bay.
An August wedding is planned.
Candy Sale Swells
Fund for Annuals
The senior class of St. Mary's
academy sponsored a candy sale
Monday in order to raise money
for the annual fund. Coming just
before lent, the sale was "quite
a success" and the seniors made
around $25.
Tuesday evening, the Cardinals
traveled to Elgin for a game with
St. Boniface. St. Mary’s students
were invited to remain for the
homecoming dance sponsored by
their hosts. St. Boniface graders
were defeated by St. Mary's Mid
gets in a game played at O'Neil]
Saturday.
The Boys' sodality presented a
dance in the school gym Tuesday
at 2:15 p.m. Part of the proceeds
will be sent to Father Basil Price
for use in his work in Korea.

nesday. Ash Wednesday ceremon

and distribution of ashes, took
place in St. Patrick’s church at
9 a.m.
Friday’s game with Orchard

The leader of the entire club is
Joe Luebcke, and he will also be
the dairy leader, Ivan Heiss leads

of the leaders will appoint their
assistants. The tractor club will
meet March 18, at the home of
Ivan Heiss. The beef and dairy
clubs both will meet March 25.
The diary meeting being held at
the home of Joe Luebcke and the
beef will meet at the Frank Bee
laert home.
