Feted in Series of Social Gatherings RIVERSIDE- The Verl Gun ter family of Springield, III., came Tuesday afternoon, Janu ary 28, with Mr. and Mrs. Dean Pofahl to visit a few days wdth relatives and friends. Tliey were guests at the Will Shrader home. They visited the following eve ning at the Archie Johnston home: Friday evening at the Gerald Wetlaufer home in O’Neill, and Saturday evening at Willie Shra der home. On Thursday a supper was held at Will Shrader home in their honor. Those attending were Mrs. Ger ald Wetlaufer and Gary of O’ Neill; Mr. and Mrs. Archie John ston and family, Mr. anil Mrs Willie Shrader and family and Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Gunter. On Saturday a dinner was held in their honor at Lionel Gunter home. Those attending were Mr and Mrs. Dewitt Gunter, Mr. and Mrs. Will Shrader and Eddy, Mrs. Steve Shavlik and Pamela. Mrs. Edwin Hubbard and son, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Switzer, Mr. and Mrs. Holland Hord, Mr. and Mrs. Dewitt Hoke, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Napier and children. The Veri Gunter family went as far as Norfolk with Paul Gunter Sunday afternoon, leaving there with Mr. and Mrs. Dean Pofahl for their home in Springfield. The United Presbyterian me.i are working at the church putting on new ceilings and side walls on ‘two rooms and the entrance. O'Donnell of O'Neill, was capped at St. Catherine's school of nursing Sunday in Omaha. Immediate ly following, she received the habit of a postulant which she will wear six months. She is at the Provincial House of the Sisters of Mercy in Omaha. She will continue her studies of nursing at St. Catherine's hos pital as she will be a nursing nun. Poor liursst'rs Provide Party— INMAN Twelve tnembers of the Inman Workers Project cluh enjoyed a party at the home of Mrs. James M. McMahan Tues day, January 28. They enjoyed a 1:30 o'clock dessert luncheon fol lowed by a social afternoon of games and visiting. It was decided the Christmas party in December when secret pats were revealed that those who guessed the name of their pal would have to entertain those whose guesses wore wrong.
