Gertrude Easton, a sister of Al
len's mother and also a buddy of
Allen's who served with him in
Korea.

four children of Wahoo arrived
Friday to visit a few days with
his parents, Dr. ami Mrs. O. W.
French.
Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Korab;
spent Christmas with his mother.
Mrs. Orville Peterson. Mr.
Korab is a senior at Wayne State
college.
Spending Christmas day with
their mother, Mrs. M. J. Wallace j
were her sons and daughters, Dr.
and Mrs. Stephen Wallace and
three children of Wahoo, Dr. Rob
ert Wallace of Omaha, Mr. and'
Mrs. Harold Conners and family

A. Kersenbrock and family. The
Wallace family of Wahoo arrived
Monday and Dr. Robert arrived
Christmas day.
Miss Ella Mae Paul, daughter
of Rev. and Mrs. Robert Paul,
spent her vacation from Evangel
college in Springfield, Mo., with
her parents. Before returning
she and her parents visited rela
tives in Colorado. She left t riday
with a friend to resume her

ning. December 28, for the wed
ding of Miss Janice Irene Turner,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John
Turner of O'Neill, and Robert
Lemek, son of Mr. and Mrs. John
Lemek of Sioux City.
Rev. Francis Price, pastor of
the Church of Epiphany in Em
met, officiated at the 10 o’clock
double-ring ceremony. Miss Al
vara Ramm of Stuart, organist,
accompanied Miss Mary Gatz,
who sang "Mbther Reloved ”, and j
’’Ave Maria" Acolytes were Mas-1
ters John I^emek and Joe Lemek.

Given in marriage by her fath-1
er, the bride appeared in a floor- j
length gown of white chantilly
lace over satin and tulle. The
bodice featured a sabrina neck- j
line with brief sleeves and was I
trimmed in seed pearls and iri
descent sequins. The gown was j
complemented with lace mitts.
The skirt featured a lace
peacock overskirt forming a bus
tle effect in the back and fell
over scalloped tiers of accordian
pleated tulle forming a very bouf
fant effect. Iler illusion veil was!
attached to a scalloped crown!
encrusted with seed pearls and i
ididescent sequins and she carried
a cascade bouquet of white car
nations.
Miss Dona Turner, sister of the
bride was maid-of-honor and Miss
Barbara Ix'mek, of Sioux City,
sister of the bridegroom, and Bet
ty Jo Turner, sister of the bride,
were bridesmaids. They wore
identical ballerina length gowns
fashioned of red lace over taffeta
trimmed with velvet. White iri
descent half hats and white ermine
muffs trimmed with sprigs of hol
ly completed their costumes.
YaVonne Sohaaf was flowergirl
and Master Russel Dericksen ser
ved as ringbearer. They were
each dressed in white.
Richard I^emek of Iowa City,'
la., a brother of the bridegroom,
served as bestman. Gene Turner,
brother of the bride, and Ron All
son of Omaha were ushers and
also attended the bridegroom.
The bridegroom and his at
tendants were attired in light
jackets and navy trousers. They
wore carnation boutonnieres.
Mrs. Turner chose a grey coat
dress with white accessories for
her daughter’s wedding and Mrs
Lemek wore a grey and white
dress with black accessories. Both
wore red carnation corsages.
A dinner for 32 guests was held
at the Town House with a rece
ption from 2 to 5 p.m., at the
home of the bride's parents fol
lowing A three tier all white wed
ding cake centered the bride's
table flanked by white candela
bra.
Misses Barbara Miller and Joan
I^answorth served the punch. Miss
Anglela Zakrzewski and Lonnie
Langan took care of the gifts.
Karen Mahony registered the
guests. Barbara McCarthy and
Corrine Murphy served the wed
ding cake
Mrs. Lemefc is a graduate of
St Mary's academy and has
been employed by Mutai Insur
ance company of Omaha. Mr.
Lemek was graduated from Heelan
high school in Sioux City and
is serving with the armed forces

For traveling the bride chose a
red dress with black accessories
Following a short wedding trip
the bridegroom will return to Ft.
Carson to complete basic train
ing

Lemek and family of Sioux City.
