Orchard's telephone oper ator the past 15 years, Monday morning performed the last man ual switching for the 325 subscrib ers. General Telephone company, which absorbed Nebraska Con tinental in 1956, cut over to a dial system. The new equipment is located in a new concrete block building. The conventional switchboard has l>een in its lo cation at least a half century.
