REIMER, County Judge (COUNTY COURT SEAL) 29-31c Mrs. P. M. Conger Dies at St. Paul 50-Year Member of Ewing Lodge EWING Mrs. P. M. Conger, 85, of Sioux Falls, S.D., died in St. j Paul. Minn.. Friday, November 1. Funeral services were held Monday, November 4, at Sioux Falls and graveside rites were conducted at Tilden on Tuesday, November 5, at 11:30 a m. Several J members of the Jephthah chap ter 85, Order of the Eastern Star at Ewing, attended the rites. Mrs. Conger was a 50-year member of the chapter. She was born June 19, 1872 in Laramie, Wyo. Her parents mov ed to Tilden where she taught school in Antelope county before her marriage December 25, 1901j to Porterfield M. Conger. They lived in Ewing where Mr. Con ger owned and operated the Ne braska Lumber, Livestock and Grain company. He preceded her v death in 1918. Mrs. Conger mov ed to Lincoln in 1925 where she made her home for 15 years after ! which she has divided her time j with her six daughters. Survivors include: Six daugh- j ters—Mrs. H. L. (Gertrude) De- j Lano of St. Paul, Minn.; Mrs. ( George E. (Isabelle) Bodwich of Dallas, Tex.; Mrs. William J. (Lona) Limpo of Sioux Falls, S D.; Mrs. J. Edward (Elda) Hall of Greeley, Colo.; Mrs. Wil liam C. (Allis' Powell of Ottumwa, la.: Mrs. Howard W. RESOLUTION WHEREAS. Elenor Haynes, Guardian of Meta Martin, an incompetent person, duly ap pointed by the County' Court of Holt County, Nebraska, has filed in District Court of Holt County, Nebraska, her petition and application for license to sell die following described real estate belonging to said incompetent, to-wit: AH that part of the North east Quarter of the South east Quarter of Section 25, in Township 29, North of Range 12, West of the 6th P M . in Holt County, Ne braska, described as fol lows : Commencing at a point 50 feet West of the Southwest Comer of Block 2 of Matthew 's Addition to the City of O'Neill, as per the recorded plat there of, thence running North 160 feet, thence running west 150 feet, thence run ning South 129 feet, thence running East 150 feet, thence running North 269 feet to the place of be ginning, for the reason that the cash and the personal property be longing to said incompetent, and the income from said real estate, are insufficient to maintain said incompetent, pay taxes, and to maintain said real estate against depre ciation and it is for the bene fit of said incompetent, that said real estate should be sold and the proceeds used for the maintenance and benefit of the ward, and, WHEREAS, the board of Supervisors of Holt County, Nebraska, have investigat ed said matter and approve of such proposed sale, and deem it necessary for the best interests of said incompetent. NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Supervisors of Holt County, Nebraska, that we deem such proposed sale proper and beneficial to the estate of said incompetent and approve the same and deem it neces sary. BE IT FURTHER RESOL VED that a copy of this reso lution shall be certified by the County Clerk of said County to the Judge of the District Court of Holt Coun ty. Nebraska, in writing. The above Resolution having received the majority of the vote of the Board of Supervisors the Chairman declared the same duly passed and adopted. Motion by Smith, seconded by Dierking that the 5 mill building levy voted at the Special meet ing of School District No. 136 held on August 23, 1957, la* approved. Motion carried.
