Lela Mae Hornback Weds in California SPENCER Miss Lela Mae Hornback, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Hornback of Spen cer, became the bride of Alvin Ray Crotinger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester H. Cortinger of Bis on, Kans., Sunday, September 29’ at U. S. Naval Station chapel at San Diego, Calif. Rev. D. L. Hamm officiated at the double-ring ceremony. The bride was given in mar riage by Dr. H. G. Carter. Bridal attendants were Sharon Meyers, maid of honor and All ita Walker, bridesmaid, Carolyn and Jenny Carter were flower girls. Norman Shaup and James Mus sen served as bridegroom attend ants and Walter Bugh and Danny Cregret were ushers. A reception was held immed iately following the ceremony at the E. M. club for 55 guests. Mrs. Crotinger is a graduate of Chambers high school class of 1953 and since January of 1954 has been employed by Dr. H. G. Carter, M. D., in San Diego, Calif. Mr. Crotinger is serving with the U.S. navy until August of 1958.
