at Chambers Told
CHAMBERS — The district
manager for a hybrid seed com
company came from Creightor
recently to make tests on demons
tration plots at the Edgar De
Hart farm west of Chambers
While here he made several tests
of field yields in the community
Some of the DeHart corn made
100 bushel per acre and 70 bushe
per acre.
On the Chet and Ernest Jung
bluth place the yield was 12(
' bushels per acre and on the Wood
[ Jarman place 107 bushel pei
| acre.
These tests were all made al
j 80 pounds to the bushel. They
know the corn will shrink but
they still think it's a “lot of
corn.”
