The wedding of Miss Wilma L.
Babutzke, only daughter of Mr.
and Mis. Fred Babutzke of O'
Neill and James A. Ollendick,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ollendick
of Elgin, took place at Fairfax,
S O., Sunday, September 29.
The 11 o'clock ceremony was
performed in the Catholic church
by the church pastor.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, appeared in a
white ballerina gown of net over
taffeta. Her fingertip veil was
held in place with rhinestone
crown. She wore white ballerina
slippers und carried a bouquet of
pink and white mums with a
white satin ribbon.
Miss Shirley Ann Babutzke,
cousin of the bride, was the
bridesmaid. She wore a pink ball
erina length gown of net over
satin with white pumps. She also
carried a bouquet ol pink and
white mums.
Jerry Ollendick, served as his
brother's bestman.
The bridegroom was attired in
a navy blue suit and the bestman
wore a gray suit. They both wore
white carnation boutonnieres.
The brides mother chose a
navy blue suit with white access
ories. Mother of the bridegroom
appeared in a gray suit with
white accessories. Both mothers
wore corsages of white mums.
The wedding dinner and recept- j
ion was held between three and
five o'clock at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Oswald Babutzke. The 11
four tier wedding cake was baked \
by the bridegroom's mother and .
was served with ice cream after I
the gifts were opened.
The couple left the following |
morning for Billings, Mont.,
where they will make their home. |

Finch received word that his
brother. Frank Finch of Chad
ron is quite ill. and was taken to
the Chadron hospital. . . Mr. and
Mrs. Clarence Finch. Mrs. Alta
Finch and Mrs Kenneth Waring
drove to Omaha Monday. Sep
tember 30. where Mrs. Alta Finch
received medical treatment. She
remained at Fremont with her
granddaugher and will take more
treatment within the next week.
The rest of the group returned to
their homes the same evening.
Mrs. M G. Strope underwent
a major operaton at the Nehgh
hospital Monday. September 30
She is fitting along as well as
can be expected.
