Back from Germany
AMELIA [ion Peterson, who
has been serving with the army
in Germany, has completed his
two years of service and arrived
at his home in Amelia Saturday.
His parents, Mr. and Mrs, Oscar
Peterson, ^ent to Fremont where
they met him ot the home of his
sister, Mrs. Paul Johnston.

arrived home Saturday, Septem
ber 21, from their honeymoon.
They visited his sister and hus
band, Mr and Mrs Larry Ken
nedy at Riverside, Calif. While
they were there another sister,
Mrs. Max Dixson, and her hus
band, also came from Scottsbluff.

calling in Amelia Wednesday,

to be present for the occasion.

and Mrs. Albert Lemmer of At
kinson, to Chateau, Mont., to
visit another sister, Mrs. Delos
Moulton They made the trip in
the Limmers' new Edsel car.
Mrs. George Fullerton and

McMillen and daughters spent
the weekend in Omaha visiting
their parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Charlie Spath, and sister. Mrs.
Mary Lou Price, and son, Jackie.
Miss Carolyn Backhaus is

home near Niobrara. She is car
ing for the two small daughters
while Mrs Keyes is teaching the
school nearby. Mrs. Eva Back
haus is with Caroline at present.
