The Rodeo will begin a 10-day,
11-performance stand at Ak-Sar
Ben Coliseum September 20.
There will be eight evening per
formances at 8, two Sunday mat
inee at 2 and one Sunday twi
light performance on September
22 at 6:30 p.m.
Godfrey will put his famed
Palomino champion, "Goldie,”
through his paces at the Rodeo
performances and will bring his
entire cast of 80 stars, producers
and technicians to Omaha for his
daily radio and TV shows. At
least one of these shows will em
anate from Ak-Sar-Ben's world’s
largest 4-H Beef Show.
Due to prior TV commitments,
Godfrey will not be able partici
pate in the final performance of
the Rodeo on Sunday, September
29. In his place will be the top
stars of Omaha's 10 TV and radio
stations.

with Airline—
Miss Patty Pierson arrived
home Monday from Kansas City,
Mo., where she has been for four
weeks taking training to become
a reservationist for Northwest
airlines. She will be here until
about the first week in October
when she will leave for a three
week's additional training in St.
Paul, Minn. After completing the1
course, she will be assigned.

evening where she boarded a
train early Sunday morning for
Ahsorokee, Mont., to visit her
daughter, Carol Vandersnick,
and family. Mrs lwe Kink and
sons spent Saturday night at the
Willie Shrader home. On Sunday
Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Fry and
children and Mr. and Mrs. lwe
Fink a n d sons were dinner
guests at the Willie Shrader
home. The dinner was in honor
of Mrs. Lynn Fry’s birthday an
niversary .
Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Pollock,
Mrs. Tommy Jacobson and fam
ily of Intercession, Fla , were
supper guests at Jim Pollocks
home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Dave
