Really had a mice sale last Monday. Sold 349 cattle and
297 hogs. Top on butcher hogs at $21.00. Hulk from $20.00 to
$20.85: One long string of 89 head from Page sold at $20.95.
Sows and feeder shoats in very strong demand. Top on sows
at $20.25.
The cattle market was very active. Sold 1,084-lb. steers in
load lots at $21.50. Several yearling steers from $21.50 to
$23.50. Odd head up to $25.00. Had several loads in the run.
36 heifers at $20.60. Can use a lot more cattle and hogs. The
fellows in the east arewantingthem now. Don’t wait too long to
sell your plain yearlings.
