Mr. and Mrs. Seth Hertel of Chamhers served supper on Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Manson spent the weekend at the Ivan Briggs home near Ord. The Henry Reimer family ob served on their trip to Denver, Colo., the crops, grass and hay are “looking good” because of the abundance of moisture this year. The Reimers were compelled to compare the contrast in condi tions in previous years when the area was gripped by drouth. The rains this season seem to have been general. The Reimers and Elayne spent the week with the Carl Christons, James Conways and Scott Clows. They also visit ed the Howard Temples in Hast ings and Margaret Bohlke at Kenesaw. Elayne remained in Hastings for a longer visit at the Temple home. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Miller and Robert spent last week visiting relatives in Montana. Mary Mil ler, who is employed in Omaha, spent the week at home. Grover Shaw of O’Neill has been helping at the Ralph Tom jack farm recently. Complete Trip— Mr. and Mrs. George Van Ev ery returned last Thursday from a 3,000-mile trip. They were ac companied by their son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Van Every, and daughter, Carolyn, of Norfolk and her friend, Lois Lib by of Grand Island. They went up through South and North Dakota and went on to Glacier Park.
