We put it on for our own squadron and it went over big. Well, some Gen eral saw it and, in turn, told our base commander and the next thing we knew we were on or ders to tour all air force bases in Germany and France. Incidently, it was a grand safety program you know, ‘Be Your Brother’s Keeper and Back the Attack on Traffic Accidents.’ Though there also was some comedy mixed in, it was quite, educational. Perhaps it has saved a life or two. We had a great ( tune and were treated like kings everywhere. We traveled by bus. WATER Don’t Lose Your Crop! Regarding the picture of the 1907 O'Neill baseball team, the man next to Sanford Parker is not Tim Hanley but is Dave Gro venor, who was cashier of the Fidelity Rank of O’Neill, owned by E. E. Halstead of Ponca. Ed Alberts did not catch that season but played second base. Brophy played first base. If you have the old files of The Frontier for 1907, I think you will find I am' correct. I do not j believe Tom Hanley played at all that season. I think either Billy or Jerry! Hanley will tell you it is not Tim. Will appreciate if you will take the time to check this and let: me know. • W. J. Hammond Columbus, Nebr. Hello to all! Am sending money order for renewal of my subscription.
