KELLOGG—Mr. and Mrs. Ber nard Kellogg of Orchard, a son, Patrick Bernard, bom Monday, July 8, at Lundberg Memorial hospital. The Kelloggs have three daughters. LUBKEN- Mr. and Mrs. Norm an Lubken of Lincoln, a son, weighing 8 pounds 3 ounces, bom Sunday, July 7. This is the Lub ken’s first child. Fernaus Feted in Picnic at Park A picnic was held in Ford’s park Sunday, July 7, honoring Jerry Femau and Larry Femau, who are both home on leave and the latter’s wife and their daugh ter, Lorrie and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Harding and family, who are visiting from Garden Grove, Calif Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Charles Femau and family of Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Kinzie and family and Mrs. Bill Femau and family all of Butte; Mrs. Charles Luber, Mary and Floyd and Mr. and Mrs. Dickie Femau and Joyce of Valentine: Mr and Mrs. E. Mr and Mrs. Dale Gilbert and daughter of Stuart were Sunday, July 7, visitors in the Andrew Gilbert home. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Harley, Darlene and Norman are spending i the week vacationing in Colora do. They left Sunday, July 7. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Thorin and Mrs. Lloyd Wintermote and girls drove to Grant, Sun day, June 23, to visit the form er's brother and famdy, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Thorin. at the Clar ence Thorin home. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Thorin and family of Cheyenne, Wyo., also drove to Grant to visit the other members of the Thorin family. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rogge of Sioux Falls, S. D.. came Satur day, June 29, and on Sunday, June 30, returned to Sioux Falls, taking with them her brother-in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. An drew Gilbert, who visited there until Sunday, July Y, when Mr. and Mrs. Rogge brought them home. During the week they visited places of interest in the Sioux Falls vicinity, and also in parts of Iowa and Minnesota. Mr. Rogge is superintendent of a Sioux Falls city school. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Parshall of Atkinson were Sunday, July 7 supper guests in the Ernest Jung hluth home. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Theis of Iowa City, la., spent the weekend in the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar DeHart. Mr. Theis returned home but Mrs. Theis remained for a longer visit. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Shavlik and Pamela and Mrs. Edwin Hubbard and Rickey of Chambers and the former’s son-inlaw and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Gesch and children of Lincoln, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Bartak and Mr. and Mrs. Sunderman and baby enjoyed a picnic dinner at Pibel lake Sun day, July 7. The Gesch family left from there for their home at Lincoln. Sheryl Harley Feted on Anniversary— Mrs. Ralph Beckwith entertain ed 19 little guests in honor of her granddaughter, Sheryl Harley’s eighth birthday anniversary on July 1.
