Miss Vicki Hutton Feted in Shower INMAN A miscellaneous show er was held at the Methodist church annex on Saturday even ing in honor of Miss Vicki Sue Hutton, who is to be married Sat urday, July’ 13, to Warren Wreb ster of Omaha, The program was based on the theme, "This Is Your Life” which was concluded with a mock wedding Scenes were acted out by Miss Hutton's friends. After she open ed her gifts, refreshments were served by the committee. Other Inman News Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Kelley, Kay and Ann spent Wednesday and Thursday. July 3-4, in Omaha visiting in the home of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Kelley and Neal. They also took in the Ak-Sar-Ben races. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Graz ier Jim and Sharon of Tipton, Mo., came Wednesday, July 3, and were guests in the home of their brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. James M. McMa hon. until Monday morning Mr. and Mrs. James Pinker man, jr., and four children of Omaha came Wednesday, July 3, and spent July 4 in the home of their brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. K. A. Coventry, and Bob. They were accompanied here by Miss Kay Coventry of Omaha, who spent the Fourth in the home of her parents, Mr and Mrs. James K. Coventry. Mrs. Lyle Ruth Jackson of St. Paul, Minn., and Willard Mc Naughton of Minneapolis, Minn., spent several days the past week visiting in the home of Lyle's parents, Mr and Mrs W. C. Kel ley. They returned home Satur day. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Todley and daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Young of Gordon, came Friday and visited a few days in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cliarles Young. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Grazier, Jim and Sharon of Tipton, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. James Coventry, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Mattson, Mr. and Mrs. James M McMah on. Beverly and Bert Smith en joyed a family picnic at the club grounds July 4 Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Hansen of New York have been guests the past week in the home of Mrs. Ernest Brunekhorst, and Barbara. They have also visited in the George L. Ooleman and K. F. Smith homes. Miss Carolyn Watson of Omaha spent the weekend in the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. I. L. Watson. The Watsons took her to Omaha Tuesday where Mr. Watson transacted business. Mr. and Mrs. Earl DeLong and family of Chicago, 111., have spent the past week here visiting rela tives. Mr and Mrs. William Man chester of Compton. Calif., and Mr and Mrs. Earl White of Ft. Collins, Colo., spent the past week in the home of Mr. and Mrs Lyle Abney. Mrs. Manchest er and Mr. White are a sister and brother of Mrs Abney. Mrs Charles Russell and daughter. Debbie, erf Lincoln spent the past week in the home of Mrs Russell’s mother. Mrs. Ray Siders. and Marilyn Mr. Russell came Saturday and they returned home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Vem Wrede and children of O'Neill were Tuesday evening. Dick Coventry anil Ned Kelley returned Saturday from Omaha where they spent the past six weeks working at the Ak-Sar-Ben race tracks. Band Concert Is Planned Friday Eve A band concert is planned for Friday night at Ford’s park at 7:30 o’clock, it was announced by Duane Miller, instrumental di rector. Those taking part are stu dents from O'Neill public school and St. Mary’s academy and are known as the Municipal Band. Miss Cera Corkle was the recip ient from St. Mary's academy of the annual Sousa award, present ed last Friday. Gordon Fox was the winner from O'Neill high school which had been announced previously. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Gustafson and family of Lincoln were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs.Neil Dawes. Sharon Gustafson and family of Lincoln were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Dawes. Sharon Gustafson remain ed to visit another week. Helen C. Winchell, Edward Pavel Wed Miss Helen C. Winchell, daugh I ter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Win chell. and Edward Pavel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Pavel of near Ewing, were united in mar riage at St. Patrick's Catholic church Wednesday, July 3 at 10 a. m. by Rev. Robert Duffy. The double ring ceremony took place before altars decorated with bas kets of gladioli and shasta dais i ies. Given in marriage by her fath j er, the bride appeared in an em broidered lace gown over satin, i The lace bodice had matching long sleeves, which came to [Joints over the wrists. The nylon i net bouffant skirt featured an ov erskirt of lace which matched the txxlice and was scalloped. She appear ed in a pink embroidered nylon lace gown with a nylon taffeta cummerbund that ended in the back with two full streamers that fell to the hemline. The bodice j had tiny appliqued flowers with sequin centers and a net insert at the neckline. The skirt was full and ballerina length. She had a wreath of daisies on her head and carried matching daisies. The bestman was Richard Wil kinson of Chambers. Ushers were Thomas Clark and Robert Leis- i wald of Chambers. Miss Patricia Mullen sang "On j This Day” and "Mother Beloved", accompanied by Miss Alvara Ramm of Stuart. A dinner followed at the Town ! House for the immediate families and a reception was held at the Winchell home from 2 to 4 pi. m. After a short wedding trip to the Black Hills, the couple will I live in O’Neill, where the bride- * groom is a carpenter with his I father.
