Miss Nancy Baker, Bruce Rehberg Wed Sunday at Neligh NELIGH — Basket* of white daisies and gladioli decorated the Neligh Methodist church Sunday, June 16 at 2 p m when Miss Nancy Baker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs A Gordon Baker of Ne ligh. and Bruce Rehberg, former ly of O’Neill, son of Mrs. Hazel Rehberg of Lincoln, were united in marriage. The double ring ceremony w'as performed by Rev. Coplev Given in marriage by her fath er, the bride appeared in a gown whose hodice was lace over satin coming to points in front and back below' the waistline. The sweetheart neck was outlined in sequins and buttoned down the entire l>ack. The skirt featured double net over satin w'hich end ed in a cathoderal train. The lace in the outer net followed the hod ice line. The sleeves tapered to points over her hands. Her fin gertip veil fell in double folds from a straight crown, which was edged in matching lace. She car ried red roses w'ith white satin pearl earrings, a gift of the bride groom, Mrs W. M. Lentz of Hopkins ville, Ky , was matron of honor. She wore a pink taffeta and lace gown in alternating panels which was on princess lines, with full ness centered in the back. Miss Rhea Perdeu was brides maid. She wofe a blue lace over taffeta gown in bouffant styling. Both attendants had bouquets of white carnations and white streamers. They had matching headbands of white daisies Robert Whitmer of Orchard was tiestman. Ushers were Ken neth Colson of Royal and Ger ald Holm of Royal The grooms man was Eldon Schacht of Or chard. Bill Parsons accompanied Miss Liane Gillespie who sang "Be cause". A reception followed in the church basement. Miss I/St ella Col man had charge of the guest book and the Misses Phyl lis Pilger and Marlene Jones took care of the gifts. For her going away outfit, the1 bride chose a black princess styl ed dress with white accessories and a red rose corsage. Mrs. Rehberg is a graduate of Neligh high school, class of 1957. Mr. Rehberg is a graduate of Royal high school and attended Wayne State Teachers’ college and the University of Nebraska. He was formerly employed at The Frontier. Frontier for printing. Jarman Exchange Vows Miss Sandra Ann Harper, daughter of Mr. and Mrs Gor don Harper of Omaha, and Jim I) Jarman, son of Mr. and Mrs Richard Jarman of Chambers, were united in marriage at 10 a. m., Saturday, June 15. Father Kenipker officiated at the dou ble-ring ceremony at St. Pius X Catholic church in Omaha. Miss Harper, given in marriage by her father, was gowned in white nylon organza and Venice lace over nylon net and Skinners satin. The fitted basque Ixxiice, buttoned at the back, feature! an oval neckline handed in Ven ice lace in a flower motif. Brief shirred sleeves repeated the lace trim Iz>ng gauntlets were crush ed to a point at the wrists. The Ixiuffant organza skirt, shirred very full at the waist and worn over hoop petticoats, featured a chapel sweep train and repeated the lace of the neckline as an outline for shirred side panniers. Ihe lace continued at the hark to the hemline. The bride's bou quet was of pink and white rose buds. Miss Jeanette Harper was her sister’s maid-of-honor. Miss Pat Sullivan, also of Omaha, acted as bridesmaid. They wore identical sheath gowns of pink linen, fa shioned with tulle cummberbunds. They carried bouquets of pink tea roses with pink streamers. Gene Adams of Chambers was bestman. Groomsman was Bob Mostek of St Paul Duane Gros mcklaus of Bartlett, brother-in law of the bridegroom, and Ralph Adams of Chambers were ushers. The mother of the bride wore a navy blue dress with white ac cessories The mother of the bridegroom chose a rose lace dress with white accessories. Both wore pink carnation cor sages Following the ceremony, a 12 o'clock dinner for dose friends and relatives was held at the home of the bride’s parents. The bride's table was decorated with four-tier wedding cake, pink tap ers and roses. A 2:30 o'clock reception was held for SO guests. Miss Carolyn Wintermote of Chambers had charge of the guest lunik. Misss Ellen Corkte of O'Neill poured punch. After a wedding trip of Minne sota. the couple will make their home in Omaha. The bride graduated from St. Mary's academy in O’Neill in 1955,’ attended St. Mary's college in Omaha find is employed as a secretary.
