Ridgeway filed his petition In
this Court alleging that Robert
Ross Ridgeway died intestate a
resident and inhabitant of Holt
County, Nebraska, and seized
and possessed of an undivided
interest in the following describ
ed real estate, to-wit:
The Northwest Quarter of
Section 23, Township 31,
Range 11, West of the 6th
P. M. in Holt County. Ne
braska.
That your petitioner is the
father and an heir at law of the
deceased and prays for a decree
determining the time of death
of the decedent that he died in
testate, and a determination of
his heirs, and fixing the degree
of kinship thereof and the right
of descent of said real estate and
fpr an order barring claims of
creditors of said deceased and
for such other relief as may be
I and equitable; that said
matter is set for hearing in the
County Court of Holt County,
Nebraska on the 5th day of June

Holt County School Supt. Alice
French Tuesday, May 14, was pre
sented an award by the Holt
county rural youth in recognition
of her services to the young
people of the community.
The presentation was made by
Arthur Waterman of Page at the
Rural Youth’s 10th anniversary
banquet attended by 40 persons
at the Town House.
George Peter of O’Neill receiv
ed a leadership award.
Those on the program included
the Rev. Glenn Kennicott, Meth
odist minister; Harold Colburn, At
kinson, county president; Jim
Hartman of Page, toastmaster;
Mrs. Clifford Sobotka of O’Neill; I
Warren Peden, assistant county
agent, and Wally Bazyn, WJAG,
Norfolk, who furnished entertain
ment, and Boyd County Agent
Ronald Gustafson, who gave the
main talk.

Showers Fail to
Dampen Outing—
EWING—Cloudy skies and fre
quent showers did not dampen
the spirits of the students of the
Ewing high school, who left
Thursday morning for the River
side park in Neligh. Upon arriv
ing at the park, they found con
siderable moistui'e. The croup
went to the roller rink where they
ate their lunch and spent the af
ernoon roller skating.
Transportation was provided by
trucks by Webb Napier and
Duane Hord. Sponsors were Supt.
