Elizabeth Morgan. 75. who moved from Atkinson 27 rears ago She died Thursday. April 4, in Seattle, Wash., following sur gery. The graveside rites were pre ceded by brief services at Sager's funeral chapel. Rev Curtis Bar nett, Presbytenan pastor of ficiating. Burial was near the grave A her late nushand. She was preceded in death by ner husband, the late James Morgan; one brother. Dave, and .one aster, Lucy. Mr Morgan was an Atkinson insurance man and at one time served as county judge. The late Mrs. Morgan was bom August 1. 1381. at Salt Lake City, Utah, a daughter of Stewart and Jennie Wiggins Beck. She was employed for many years as a clerk in the Atkinson postoffice Following the death of her husband, she made her home with her son. Foster. M en s Fashion Show to Be Presented Regular meeting of American Legion post 93 was held Tuesday evening. Plans were made for an armed forces day covered dish dinner This party will honor World War I members of the post. The com mittee appointed included past commanders of the post: Vem Reynoldson, Elgin Ray. John Watson. AI Carroll, and Virg Laursen. It was decided to have a home talent show and ask the auxiliary to help with talent. The feature of this affair will be a second showing of the men’s fashion show The memorial day program was discussed. Vice-Commander Don Borg and G. Owen Cole will be in charge of the program. Lunch and refreshments were served with a large attendance j present and over 95 per cent of the memDers wearing their legion caps. Auction Calendar Friday. Mav 2 tea to be held was dis cussed. Lesson on decorative stitches was presented by Mrs. John Schmit and Mrs. Janzing. Mrs. A. Neil Dawes and Mrs. Frank Shefl served refreshments.
