After the youngest of the Loy children— Donald — had completed his i schooling, the couple provided board and room for rural child-: ren who lived too far to com mute. In one instance she kept three high school students from a single family. One of Mr. Loy’s brothers, Ed ward formerly lived at O’Neill. He now lives at Ozone, Ark. A nother brother, Harvey, died four years ago at Ft. Scott, Kans. Of the two girls and five boys in the original Loy family at Allen, on ly one is deceased. Mrs. Loy has a brother, Hurley, living at O’Neill; another brother,1 Ben, residing at Turlock, Calif.; and two sisters, Mrs. John (Dora) Walmer, sr., of Orchard and Mrs. Jennie Binkerd of Whittier, Calif. The Loys have always belong ed to First Presbyterian church and Mrs. Loy is the oldest living member in point of membership —54 years. She is active in the Women’s asociation of the church and also is active in extension club work. They have 27 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. All of their children were present for Sunday’s celebration, numerous grandchildren and five great granueimuren.
